History Makers
U-B-U Family Childcare journey began in 2012 as a family childcare. During this time family childcares where not being recongize as learning centers . In 2016 , Ms. Kat, the owner, and other childcare providers came together to advocate for greater recognition and equality for family childcares. They advocated for two years and not giving up.
For two years, they fought for their cause, asserting that family childcares should be more than childcares and should be equal as centers.
June,2018 ,Ms. Kat and her fellow providers successfully made history when their voices were heard. The state officially changed how it perceived family childcares, granting them the status of learning centers.
U-B-U Family Childcare now operates under the name U-B-U Learning Center to reflect its new status and change.

As a proud graduate from Bowie State Unviersty(B.S.U) ,with Honors.
I am committed to using my education from B.S.U to fuel my passion for children and early childhood education. Every day spent with children is a delightful adventure, their smiles motivate me to cultivate a fun and engaging learning atmosphere. aim is to positively impact the lives of the young children in my care, making learning a joyful experience for all ages! I am happy to not only to provide care for child or children but education as well.
